Welcome, my name is Gregory Stephen Feagans Founder/Owner of Celtic Outdoors. Celtic Outdoors is a hunting resource base that helps to educate new and old hunters about the Western style of hunting. We are a company to help inspire those who are afraid, that the fear of the unknown, or have nowhere to start with Western hunting.
Celtic Outdoors is a company that helps hunters in planning DIY hunting trips so they get more out of their experience, a place that connects hunters with some of the best outfitters in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona for their hunt of a lifetime.
Celtic Outdoors is also a one-on-one hunting consultiant for anything western hunting with educational videos for the beginner to the advanced on big game hunting.
From how to hunt with calling sequences to ongoing scouting reports as the seasons progress. We provide DIY trip planning to maximize hunting time and access to pick specific species to hunt with some of the best outfitters in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.
I offer packages from learning how to apply for tags to picking units all the way to boots-on-the-ground scouting. We also offer programs to help youth get outdoors into hunting.
OUTFITTER SERVICES
I have over forty years of hunting experience which includes 13 years of elk hunting the woodsmanship and experience offers a tremendous amount of knowledge. I am always traveling and speaking with some of the top professionals still learning with new advancements in technology.
I have years of guiding experience in Colorado, New Mexico and now Arizona that makes for a well-diverse hunter with elk knowledge from different levels. I spend a lot of time in the off-season watching, listening, and observing movements with hearing all the sounds elk can make. I visit elk farms, gaining tons of knowledge, on elk sounds and habits to have the upper hand in learning signs of what is going on when watching elk move.
I have a very successful career with elk hunting/guiding clients to take a trophy of a lifetime. Putting clients on 270+ bulls on public lands each year is very hard without proper knowledge, experience, and skill.
I will personally share my knowledge and experience with hunters to help watch them succeed in getting their trophies. I believe in educating hunters so they can experience the thrills and excitement that I have over my career.
CONSULTING SERVICES
While having access to educational videos made to help with step-by-step processes for planning hunts, finding elk, calling elk along with calling sequences that have worked for me over the years, processing the game to packing it out. This alone will not only give you knowledge but give you confidence in your hunting abilities.
Clients will have available to them one on one consulting from me personally to help with any part of the process. I've taught clients during live video how to use a reed call to make cow sounds and progressed through multiple different useful cow sounds to bugling and which bugle to use when.
For clients looking to do hunts with an Outfitters, I have personally used or visited and graded each outfitter that I recommend, so that when you book you know everything about them and what to expect, and if they do not meet my requirements then I would never recommend them.
When you pay for an outfitter there are things you deserve to have as a paying client. Once clients spend time on the videos and speaking with me personally they will have greater confidence heading into the elk woods than they would have if they had not spent time with me.
