I had my first fully guided hunt for elk with Greg in 2022. All I can say is WOW! He went above and beyond my expectations to give my buddy and me opportunities at quality bull elk. He knew the terrain very well and knew exactly what to do to get us close. He was able to call in several elk while managing our scent, and after the kill, he took excellent care of the meat as it had to be packed out several miles on mules. Greg has extensive first-aid knowledge, and we never felt unsafe. He let us decide how we wanted to hunt and pushed us just enough to get the job done. Greg is in superb physical condition and can go as hard as you want him to. I have already booked another trip with his outfitter. Thanks, Greg for a truly awesome experience!

Greg guided me on my Colorado elk hunt. He is without a doubt one of the best guides I’ve ever hunted with. He was extremely knowledgeable of the terrain and how the elk moved through the area. We hiked many miles over the course of my hunt to locate the elk and eventually stalk up to them. Being from a much lower elevation our group had to take our time with altitude but he was very accommodating and patient. He definitely went above and beyond to make our hunt a success. If and when I ever get to hunt that area again I’ll definitely be going with Greg.

Hunting with Greg and Kaleb was an experience of a lifetime! Greg is not only knowledgeable and passionate about all aspects of hunting but also provides a very involved, active experience. He was constantly checking the weather, utilizing the topography, and changing the hunt based on the current conditions. All the hard work he put in prior to the hunt to scout and know the land we were hunting helped put us on the elk, and in sharing all of his expertise with his son, Kaleb was able to help me make a difficult shot to bag the biggest bull of my life. My first elk hunt took place in the Rocky Mtns with Greg as the guide. We spent five days in typical high Mtn conditions (severe cold, heavy snow, and wind) hunting from daylight until dark. Greg put us in a position to see elk within range each of those days. This week-long hunt provided my brother-in-law and I, each, to take a bull elk. My first. Greg was knowledgeable about the mountainous terrain, and the areas of multiple elk movement locations, and provided field processing once we had taken our elk. I would highly recommend him as a big game hunting guide, and welcome another opportunity in the future! Great experience!
